Easton Grange Wedding // Nikki and Gareth

Nikki and Gareth were married on April 6th, with a ceremony and reception at Easton Grange in Suffolk.

My assistant, Sophie, and I arrived at Easton Grange in the morning for the bridal preparations in the bridal changing room at Easton Grange. Meanwhile, Gareth and his Groomswomen were getting ready at Duke Cottage on the grounds of nearby Easton Farm Park. All of Gareth’s party were female friends, and we were able to capture some fun moments of him giving gifts to all the girls, as well as opening the gifts from Nikki that she had sent over for him.

After Nikki was ready, we held a reveal for both her dad and her stepdad in the "Old Dairy" at Easton Grange. It was beautiful to see both of those men in her life so involved—and it was lovely to capture her stepdad shedding a tear later during the ceremony as he was looking up at Nikki and Gareth as they exchanged their vows.

The ceremony itself was held in the ceremony room at Easton Grange, where they were accompanied by a string quartet. From there, Nikki and Gareth were announced into the garden grounds by a confetti line, and then it was off to the drinks reception, complete with garden games for the children.

After a selection of group photographs and some bridal portraits around the gorgeous grounds, we sat down for the speeches, which was my favourite part of the evening. The speeches themselves were touching, of course, but Nikki and Gareth’s little boy, Grayson, completely made his mark as he kept trying to speak into the microphone while Nikki was giving her speech!

After the speeches, it was time for afternoon tea, and then the cutting of the cake before the staff at Easton turned the dining room around for the evening and everyone danced the night away.

I just loved all the little touches and details that went into this wedding. From the beautiful tassel garlands in the ceremony to the amazing pompom decorations in the dining area, every touch had a real spark of personality, and the Lego touches were truly unique. Gareth is a huge Lego fan, and I loved that they incorporated that into their day!

Nikki & Gareth, thank you for letting me be part of your wedding. It had been a pleasure getting to know you and your wonderful families over the past year, and I wish you every happiness for your future together. I hope that your wedding album proves to be a beautiful keepsake for you, for many years to come.
