As Kelly & Ryan strolled through the blanket of bluebells that streamed as far as the eye could see, there was something that stood out to me, shining much brighter than the beauty of the location.
The Christmas season is always a popular choice for engagements. There's something about cosying up in the warm, when it's cold outside, or maybe being around loved ones that entices couples all over the world to take that next step in their relationships.
If you're reading this after getting engaged over the festive period, congrats! It really is a wonderful time to do so and no doubt by now, you're super excited, talk has already begun about plans, dates and dresses and you've sent your other half off to the local store to pick up an armful of wedding magazines.
This time of year between Christmas and New Year is always great, as many of us are off work and so have a little more time to ourselves. So how should you make the most of this downtime together? Well, I wanted to share with you three tips I think you'll find helpful and allow you to hit the ground running once the new year comes around.
Last weekend saw me travel down to London to meet Chris & Simone for their engagement shoot. The guys are getting married at Lavenham Church in Suffolk next month and so it was great to catch up with them again to find out how all the preparations were going.
They really are a fantastic couple and throughout the session, it was so obvious that they were really made for each other and were very relaxed in front of the camera. The guys decided to take me around Chelsea, ending up at the Saatchi Gallery where they love to spend time together. Unfortunately the weather wasn't on our side that day, but we didn't let that stop us, making good use of the surrounding areas of the gallery grounds.
It really was a pleasure spending the day with you guys, I'm so looking forward to your amazing wedding next month.
Here are some images captured during our session, enjoy!
