Top 5 Things for Couples to do in Rome

Hoping the Eternal City will help to bring about eternal bliss to you and your partner’s new promise to each other? Well, it just might! The following are some of the best romantic things for you and your love to enjoy together while in Rome.

1. Walk the Spanish Steps Together

No trip to Rome would ever be complete without it and with your loved one’s hand in yours, you can take in the magnificent views from the top of the Spanish Steps. After you are done, you can walk even further uphill to the Pincio lookout point for an even better panoramic view.

2. Indulge in a Heart Shaped Pizza

Hop on over to Trastevere where quaint and quirky shops await you as well as the charming Da Vittorio at via di San Cosimato 14 where you can enjoy one of the many delectable Italian dishes you have been dying for…Pizza! Ask the waiter for a heart-shaped pie, pair it with some Italian wine, and watch as the world passes you both by.

3. Throw a Coin into the Trevi Fountain

With your partner’s hand in yours and a coin in each of the other two hands, make a wish and toss that coin in at the same time. If you want to make it even more romantic than it already is, do this during sunset just before a romantic candle lit dinner in a piazza near the fountain.

4. Spend an Afternoon at Villa Borghese

As central Rome’s largest park, you will find yourself surrounded with massive pine trees and beautiful promenades as well as a small boating lake for you both to paddle about on. Bring along some food and wine to make it all the better.

5. Enjoy Appetizers & a View at a Rooftop Bar

For the perfect ending of a perfect day in Rome, head to Raphael Hotel to enjoy pre-dinner appetizers at their lovely Roof Bar. Here, you can not only indulge in delicious foods but also take in unbeatable views of the city while doing so.
