Top 5 Things for Couples to do in New York

Whether you have chosen New York as your honeymoon destination, an anniversary getaway, or you and your loved one are simply there to explore a place you have been wanting to for years, you will find New York has a long list of things for couples to enjoy together. Here are the top five:

1. Take a Carriage Ride Through Central Park

If this doesn’t get your romantic juices flowing, I don’t know what will! So, make your way to the outside of Plaza Hotel NY or simply in front of Central Park and in no time at all you are sure to see a horse drawn carriage ready to take you on a romantic stroll with your honey. You’ll not only feel like you are in the set of a romance movie but this is also a fantastic way to get your bearings in New York and see one of the most famous parks in the world!

2. Go Ice Skating at Rockefeller Center

The Rockefeller Center especially special for those visiting during the Christmas season where you can enjoy a nice and romantic skate along the ice and find yourself surrounded by twinkling lights and classic Christmas decorations. Once you have had enough of the skating, head to the nearby outdoor café, enjoy a warm cup of coffee, and watch together as the world passes you by.

3. Share a Kiss atop the Empire State Building

No couples trip to NYC would ever complete without checking this off of your bucket list. Make your way up to the iconic building where you will get the chance to take in the spectacular views of the city with your loved one right by your side. For the best time, head there during sunset and share a kiss as the sun slowly dips below the horizon.

4. Enjoy a Classic Harbour Tour

If you enjoyed the bird’s eye view from atop the Empire State Building, why not take the city in from an entirely new perspective? A Classic Harbour Tour will have you gliding through the waters on a romantic classic style yacht, enjoy the views around you, and depending on what type you take, maybe even some champagne to make it all the better.

5. Have Dinner at Barbetta Restaurant & See a Broadway Show

Originated back in 1906 and luring in people from all over the world each night to enjoy its many authentic and delicious Italian dishes, there truly is no better romantic spot to enjoy an evening dinner. Afterwards, head to a Broadway show to make it a night worth remembering.
